Our 2003 and 2002 Girls traveled down to West Palm Beach, Florida last week to compete in the Florida Coast Cup. The 2002 Girls started off their soccer weekend with a hard-fought 1-0 win against a team from Florida. In their second match they had the opportunity to play a team from Canada, who was the eventual Champion. Although, we lost the match 0-2, our girls had a great experience playing against a quality team from another country. On Sunday, the 2002 girls concluded the tournament with a 4-0 win against another team from Florida. The 2003 girls competed up an age group and played 3 hard fought matches, each one being within a goal.
Off the field, the girls enjoyed their day off at Hobe Sound Beach. They spent their time playing in the clear blue water, taking pictures, sand soccer, and paddle ball. At night, the teams participated in some fun team-bonding activities which included a few Tik-Tok competitions and a lot of laughs.
Our Legacy Club trips are a great opportunity for our players to experience the game outside of their home environment while also spending quality time with their teammates and coaches. These trips help bond our groups and help them become closer as teammates and clubmates. #createyourfuture #leaveyourlegacy #legacysistas
