Mission

The mission of the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club is to provide superior, fun, dynamic, and inspiring soccer experiences for youth inclusive of individuals from diverse backgrounds and regardless of financial means.  By providing the highest quality developmental, recreational, educational, and competitive soccer programs that promote players' physical, social, and emotional growth, the VLSC aims to continuously:

• advance a reputation of excellence
• engender the character values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment among all players and families
• foster a genuine love of the sport and an affinity for the club among all players and families
• ensure the opportunity for each player to reach his or her greatest potential within a sport
• contribute proactively to the betterment of our community through partnership with schools, universities, and surrounding city and county governments

Model

The VLSC is a 501-C3 non-profit organization based out of Williamsburg, Virginia. Legacy Soccer offers some of the top facilities in southeastern Virginia including the Warhill Sports Complex which is home to 8 bermuda grass fields, 6 lighted Field Turf Fields for training and a 3,000 seat stadium. The Legacy is home to a youth travel club (400 players) and an instructional soccer program called the Futures Academy.  This program is home to over 350 kids ages 7-10 over the course of a year.The travel club offers a variety of playing level options, cost packages, and opportunities. Legacy Soccer aims to pioneer, develop, and continuously be on the cutting edge of youth soccer in the area and country.
