2008/2009 Trials Information Released

Information for the 2008/2009 Virginia Legacy Soccer Club has been released.  The Tryout dates are listed below for U10 - U18 boys and girls teams.  All tryouts will be held at the Warhill Sports Complex on the back turf fields, nearest the stadium. 

Each age group will have at least two trial sessions. Additional sessions for individual teams may be added for additional trial time or for weather reschedules. Players are to come to the age group/team for which you would be age appropriate (See Schedule below). Players wishing to play outside of their age group must fill out the age advancement form here. 

Players MUST attend both trial dates in order to be considered for a team unless the proper VLSC Director of Coaching is notified prior to the trials date.  All players, including current VLSC players, must register for trials.  Then please follow the instructions provided on the website. There is no cost to register or to attend trials.

VLSC Travel Teams are selected on a competitive basis. Positions on a team MUST be earned. Just because a player played on a team last year does NOT guarantee them a place for the 08/09 season. Trials are open to any player. All final decisions on team placement will be made by the Executive Director, Technical Director, Directors of Coaching of the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club in conjunction with individual team coaches.  VLSC Fee Structure

Players will be notified on Thursday, May 29th via e-mail whether they have or have not been selected for a team. Once notified, players will have 3 days to respond with their acceptance to their VLSC team placement. Please make sure to provide current e-mail addresses when registering online and an e-mail address that is checked regularly.  Once Chosen for a team there will be a club registration night. You must attend one of these nights to complete your acceptance on the team and get registered for the team you were placed on. These nights are June 3rd or June 10th from 5 - 8pm inside the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex (WISC).
