Overview

Any child with a will to play soccer, the most popular team sport in the world, should be able to do so regardless of socio-economic status. 

The Community Partnership Scholarship Fund was created in 2003 to make soccer more inclusive in our community.  Funded solely through private sources, more than 100 children participate in clinics, camps & after-school activities, and in the local recreational league.

Your tax deductible contribution* to the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club Community Partnership will support our existing recreational activities, and will also help fund the costs of participation in travel soccer for those individuals who have the talent and desire to do so.

Several of our Community Partnership players have gone on to become valuable travel soccer participants.  The average cost per year of playing on a travel soccer team can exceen a thousand dollars. 

Your contribution will help us provide an opportunity for every child whose family cannot afford this wonderful experience.  Please consider a contribution of $100 or more to support making soccer more inclusive in our community.
