With his second consecutive selection by the Capital Athletic Conference, Christopher Newport senior forward Jalon Brown became the first player in program history to earn three Conference Player of the Year honors in his career. He has led the league in goals scored and points throughout the season, and ranks ninth nationally in goals scored with 18. He has played wire-to-wire in every other contest, including four double-overtime complete games this season.
