Legacy 76 NPSL Summer Schedule Announced

2015 Home and Away

This summer come and check out the best local talent in Williamsburg and Newport News. The Legacy 76 will take the field during its second season of play in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).  Legacy 76 will open their 2015 campaign with a home match against Chesterfield United on Saturday, May 16th at Sanford B. Wanner Stadium in Williamsburg.  Last season Legacy 76 hosted over 1,600 fans on opening night and this year the team hopes to break the attendance record. Come be part of something special!

The NPSL is the largest amateur league in the United States and Legacy 76 will join 77 other teams as they compete for the 2015 NPSL Championship.  Legacy 76 will play in the Mid-Atlantic Conference this season.

Legacy 76 will play each team in the division twice throughout the summer (once at home and once away).  The team plans to utilize stadiums in both Williamsburg and Newport News to play its 5 home matches this summer.  “One of our goals for Legacy 76 is to bring a high-level, competitive and professional soccer environment to the fans and soccer families in both Williamsburg and Newport News,” explains Virginia Legacy Technical Director Bobby O’Brien.  “We believe that by utilizing the great facilities at both venues [Williamsburg & CNU], we will be able to better achieve our goals.”

Be sure to join Legacy 76 for all of the exciting action this summer!  For more information, including the full season schedule, visit the team website at www.valegacysoccer.com or follow the team on Twitter @Legacy76NPSL.
