Legacy teams perform well over Columbus Day
This past weekend Legacy teams competed all around the region in different Columbus Day Tournaments. All the teams competed their hardest and here are some of the results from the weekend.
WAGS - Washington Area Girls Soccer Tournament:
Our U15 and U16 girls competed at WAGS Memorial tournament this weekend. WAGS is one of the top girls soccer events in the nation and used to recruit the top athletes on the east coast and throughout the nation for collegiate soccer. Our 15 Elite and U16 Elite Girls competed well and finished with a combined record of 2 wins, 3 losses, and one tie.

EDL Columbus Day:
In the EDL Columbus Day Tournament (Elite Development League) 8 Legacy teams performed very well against competition from Virginia and Pennsylvania. Our U11 East End Wizards, U11 Wizards and U12 Elite girls teams all lost in the semi-finals after a great Saturday. The U11 Phoenix finished 3rd in the group out of 5 teams and both the U14 Elite Boys and the U12 Phoenix were named Finalists after a great performance on the weekend.

Richmond Kickers & Beach FC Columbus Day Events:
At both the Richmond Kicker's and Beach FC's Columbus Day Events we also found success. Our U11 CCL boys lost in the Semi Finals, while the U17 Titans finished as Finalist on Sunday in Richmond. Our lone champion of the week were our U13 CCL Boys down at the Beach FC Event. They played in the U14 Bracket and came out in 1st place. Congratuations to everyone for such a great weekend and good luck as our season rolls on!
