 Day 2

MLS] Andrew Hoxie (William & Mary) scored his second goal of the MLS Player Combine to highlight a second day of better weather and sharper performances than the wet conditions that marred Saturday's play.

Hoxie's goal from a feed by Eric Alexander - they had also combined nicely a few times in a 4-1 Convido romp on Saturday -- ended the scoring in a 2-1 Condivo win against Predator, which got an equalizer from Michael Seamonafter a superb free kick by Condivo's Michael Thomas from just outside the penalty area had opened the scoring.

Irving Garcia scored the only goal -- a rebound of a shot by Andrew Wiedeman -- of the second game, which finished with a 1-0 win for F50i over Jabulani.

Garcia has been one of the more impressive attacking players at the Combine, and the speed of Teal Bunbury and a solid performance byAustin Da Luz were among the second day's highlights of games played on dry fields and in warm weather, for a change.

Seamon's goal, which he tapped into the net from a sharp angle, came on the heels of a good performance in atrocious conditions Saturday; with a clever ball over the top he set up a goal for Predator that was disallowed for offside.

The Combine concludes Tuesday with the final day of play. Players, coaches and general managers then head to Philadelphia for the MLS SuperDraft, which is scheduled to start Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET.
