VLSC Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament Announced
03/05/2008The Virginia Legacy has announced that its 14th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament will take place on April 18th, 2008 at the Fords Colony Country Club in Williamsburg.
Proceeds from the tournament go to benefit the Virginia Legacy's Scholarship fund. The Scholarship fund was set up to appropriate monies for those current or potential playesr who for various reasons are unable to pay all or a portion of their team fees. It is the aim of the Virginia Legacy to see that anyone having the skills and desire to participate in select soccer be allowed to do so.
The tournament will be a 4 man captains choice event. Tee time is set for 1pm, with free range balls available for all participants beginning at 12 noon. The cost for the event is $100 and includes range balls, greens fee, cart fee, dinner and beverages. There will also be mulligans for sale for $5, with over 50 mulligan prizes, including free golf, Nike wear and gift certificates. Hole Sponsorships are also available for $100, if you would like to advertise for your business. Even if you can not make it to the event, donations to the scholarship fund are also welcome.
