Legacy U17 Wizards Reach VYSA Final Four!!

The U17 Legacy Wizards reached the Virginia State Cup Final Four this past weekend with a victory over the Sterling Vipers (NCSL - 1) from Northern Virginia.  In a hard fought match in difficult weather conditions, Legacy fell down early 1-0 in the first half only to come back and score 2 goals in final 10 minutes of the first half to take a 2-1 lead into the break.  After some near misses to extend the lead and put the game out of reach, the Wizards were able to hold on to their lead and finish out the game with a 2-1 Victory. Patrick O'Brien and Kendall Pressey were the goal scorers for Legacy. Goalkeeper Seth Polk has had the win in all 3 matches.  Next up in the Semi-finals in Beach FC Fire.  Beach FC is the 2 time defending runners-up in the State.  Game time is set for Saturday, 9am at West Creek Soccer Complex in Richmond, Va.
