Legacy Reserves U20 / Lady Legacy U20

The Legacy has announced the tryout dates for this years PDL reserve team program and the Lady Legacy program.  Both teams will be comprised of the best U15-U18 players in the club and will compete in games and tournaments over the summer months.  Last years program was a huge success and we hope that everyone would get involved again this year.  Tryouts for this years teams are listed below. It is recommended that you attend both tryouts however it is not mandatory.  The teams train 2 times a week over the summer months and play 6-8 matches over the summer.  Last year the teams played the U20 teams from Fredericksburg Gunners, Va Rush, Hampton Roads Piranhas and DC United.   Both teams were also entered into a college showcase event over the summer.  The PDL reserves are also given the opportunity to train with the PDL first team to gain insight to what it takes to play at that next level.This is a great opportunity to stay in shape over the summer, get high level training and matches as well as a showcase event all for less than the price of an overnight camp.  For more information call 253-1947 or check out www.valegacysoccer.com.  The Reserves and Lady Legacy information is in the PDL section of the website.

Lady Legacy:
The Lady Legacy will be made up of the best U15-U18 girls within the Legacy Soccer Club.  The season will begin on June 3rd and end on July 31st.  Typically the team will carry a roster of 20 girls with up to 4 alternate positions.  The rostered girls will be available to play in all matches and in the end of the summer tournament.  This summer the girls will take place in the National Collegiate Showcase event hosted by US Club Soccer.  The event will take place in Virginia Beach July 26 – July 29.  The Lady Legacy will also train two times a week in the evenings and play 3-4 friendly matches against the Fredericksburg Lady Gunners, Virginia Rush and Hampton Roads Piranhas U-20.  This years team will be coached by CNU Head Asst. May 4th (4 – 6pm) and May 11th (11 – 1 pm)

Cost of the program is $400:
Included –
Training 2 times a week for June and July
3-4 Friendly matches against local Super y and Super 20 competition
Entry into the National Collegiate Showcase Event
Uniform Package (1 Jersey, shorts and socks)

PDL Reserves:
This years Reserves squad will be made up of the best U15-U18 players within the Legacy Soccer Club.  The season will begin on June 3rd and end on July 31st.  The team will carry a roster of 20 players with up to 4 alternate postions. The rostered boys will be available to play in all matches and in the end of the summer tournament.  This summer the boys will take place in the National Collegiate Showcase event hosted by US Club Soccer.  The event will take place in Virginia Beach July 26 – July 29.  The Reserves will also train two times a week in the evenings and some practices will be integrated with the Legacy PDL first team.  The team will also play  3-4 friendly matches against the Fredericksburg Gunners U20,  Hampton Roads Piranhas, and DC United Super 20.  This years team will be coached by Director of Coaching U16-U18, Bobby O’Brien.

May 3rd (6 – 7:30pm) and May 4th (2 – 4:00 pm)
