Virginia Legacy Scholarship Mini - Golf Tournament

Mini -Golf Tournament Application Form

The Virginia Legacy has announced that its 1st Annual Scholarship Mini -Golf Tournament will take place on April 24, 2010 at the Pirates Cove Adventure Golf Course in Williamsburg.

Proceeds from the tournament go to benefit the Virginia Legacy's Scholarship fund.  The Scholarship fund was set up to appropriate monies for those current or potential playesr who for various reasons are unable to pay all or a portion of their team fees.  It is the aim of the Virginia Legacy to see that anyone having the skills and desire to participate in select soccer be allowed to do so.

The tournament will be a Mini- golf tournament at Pirates Cove Adventure Golf.  Teams of 4 will begin to Tee-Off at 11:00am and will do so every 10 minutes with the last Tee-Time being at 6:00pm.  The cost per foursome is $50, or $15 for an individual. We will also have Mulligan Tickets available to win cool prizes throughout the day.  

Hole Sponsorships are also available for $100, if you would like to advertise for your business.  Even if you can not make it to the event, donations to the scholarship fund are also welcome. 

This will be a great family event open to anyone who wants to play.  Bring your friends, neighbors, parents and grandparents.  Challenge your teammates to a challenge.  Just come out for a great day of Mini-Golf for a great cause.

Virginia Legacy 5K Run/Walk:

The 7th Annual Warhill 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 – Williamsburg, VA.  The race will start at the Warhill Sports Complex (5700 Warhill Trail, Williamsburg, VA)  This is a Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event to benefit the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club Scholarship Fund.

As in past years, the auction will feature a wide variety of items available for bid in both a silent and live auction format, many at bargain prices, including:

  • Restaurant gift certificates
  • Autographed memorabilia
  • Vacation and party packages
  • Gift baskets
  • Home improvement and repair services
  • And much more…

Tickets are $25 each. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. You may purchase tickets through parents of U13 and U12 players or by visiting the soccer office during business hours. The success of this major fundraiser depends on the support of soccer club families like yours. So please support these players by purchasing your tickets soon and making plans to attend. If you are a business owner and/or have items or services that you wish to donate to the auction, please call the office or contact a U12/U13 parent. Thanks in advance for supporting the players going on the tour through your donations and participation.
