Spring Rec Soccer Recap

On May 17th the W-JCC Spring Recreational Soccer League came to a close with a sensational bang!  Over 700 children participated this season, making it one of the most successful yet.  “We are very pleased with how the season went,” said Eric Dutt, VLSC Youth Development Director.  “I’d like to thank the coaches, volunteers, parents, and players for all their hard work and dedication.”

Every player who participated in the Rec League was invited to the Legacy 76 season opener to receive their medal, mini-ball, and to participate in a parade around the field during halftime.  Ryan MacArthur, VLSC Director of Goalkeeping and Legacy 76 player said, “I was very excited for the younger players to have the chance to walk out on the field and receive their medals.  It was an amazing atmosphere, and a tradition we look forward to continuing for a long time.”

The Legacy would like to thank Lumber Liquidators and Dick’s Sporting Goods for their outstanding support of the Rec Soccer League.  Scroll down to see more pictures from the Legacy 76 game!  We look forward to seeing everyone in the Fall!
