TOPSoccer

The Virginia Legacy is Proud to announce the arrival of the TOPSoccer Program in the Williamsburg - James City County Community.

US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers.  The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a developmental disability or physical disability.   Boys and girls age four and older will now have the opportunity to learn and play soccer at their own level. Players will be grouped based on size, age, and ability level, and includes those with wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.

The program combines the mission of Virginia Legacy (To provide fun, dynamic, and inspiring soccer experiences for youth players of all ages and ability levels) and The Arc of Greater Williamsburg (To improve the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community activities and advocacy) so that every child gets the opportunity to experience the joy of playing soccer.

Cancelled for Fall 2021
